Welcome to our two self-catering apartments in the lovely village of Kolbnitz, Reisseck, Carinthia, Austria, within the Hohe Tauern National Park. Whether a walker, biker, hiker, skier or relaxer, there is something for everyone.
Set within the Hohe Tauern National Park, Kolbnitz is in the Reisseck Gemeinde, Carinthia, the property was once a multi-generational home. We have three apartments, two of which are self-contained, self-catering holiday apartments catering for up to 4 (Kreuzeck) or up to 6 (Reisseck). The other is our home.
The Kreuzeck is a one double bedroomed apartment, lounge/diner with large sofa bed, kitchen, with dishwasher and fridge/freezer and bathroom with separate shower cubicle. This apartment has views to the Kreuzeck Range mountains from the double aspect windows in the lounge. The double bed in this apartment can be made into two singles by prior arrangement.
The Reisseck is a two bedroomed apartment: one double with en-suite shower room, bedroom with custom-made bunk beds, bathroom, lounge with double sofa bed, kitchen/diner, with dishwasher and fridge/freezer. This apartment overlooks the side garden with distant views of the mountains.
Both apartments were re-decorated in 2015 and lovingly maintained to offer comfort and convenience.
There is a large south facing garden which is available to all and provides space for relaxing in the good weather. Garden chairs, benches, tables are available.
There is a Spar supermarket at the top of the drive, bank, restaurants and bars, all within the village. An open air swimming pool is also available approximately 500m from the property. A great place to cool off and have fun on a hot day.
A bus stop is approximately 250m providing links to many of the local villages and towns.
Waymarked walks, cycle tracks, mountain roads, river, funicular railway, all nearby with horse riding, rafting, canoeing and skiing all within a maximum 30 minute drive.
